چکیده
The present article examines the treatment of spatial corporeality in Doris Lessing’s novella “The Eye God Paradise” (1957) set Germany aftermath Second World War. Even though works have been studied from different perspectives—as abundant critical studies show—, has not analysed before. This paper argues that characters’ bodies, insofar as physical spaces flesh and blood are lived where power is exerted, represent trauma encountered by countless anonymous people who suffered due to horrors war only made visible author’s skilled pen. By highlighting corporeal spatiality its physical, psychological, sociohistorical division, Lessing brought fore intense suffering unknown people, give them identity well visibility transform into a locus contesting relations.
